WHO ARE WE?
Ariel Choir is a fun and relaxed friendly Choir where everyone is welcome.
No experience is needed and there is no need to read music. It doesn't matter if you have never sung a note before. We want all our members to feel comfortable and enjoy the singing experience. You may only want to come along and sing with like-minded people or you may want to take to the stage and perform with us. Everyone is welcome.
We encourage and support all our members and everyone benefits from the mental and physical well-being that singing brings.
Every week is full of laughter.
We pick a wide range of music from different eras along with different tempos and styles.
Our choirs come together for public performances.
A typical fun evening will consist of:
Learning a song with full original vocal arrangement.
There is no need to read music. All of our harmonies are made available for you to listen to and learn online.
Perform with us
There will also be the chance to perform at events, concerts, showcases and much more.

TAKE A LOOK
‘I had often thought about joining a choir, but thought I'd have to audition, so almost certainly wouldn't be successful - I think I can probably sing in tune, but certainly not a solo singer!! However, I was assured that Ariel was a light hearted choir, so decided that perhaps I would give it a go. I Would definitely recommend anyone, like me to give it a go. It's certainly a lovely 'feel good' evening, singing, (mainly) happy pieces, that I believe release endorphins, just like chocolate, but without the calories! An hour an a half of escapism.
I love going to choir. I had spent a lifetime thinking I couldn't sing and just enjoyed it, so was too scared to join a choir. A friend told me about a great choir that you didn't need to audition for and where you didn't need to be able to read music. Perfect! I walked through the door on the first day feeling very apprehensive and have been going ever since. Now they can't get rid of me! Sometimes it's a struggle to make myself go after a hard day at work, but I force myself out of the front door and am always glad that I did. Karen is FANTASTIC and arrives with some great songs and harmonies (and she even puts up with our humour). Everyone is friendly and supportive and we thoroughly enjoy it.
I was dubious about joining the choir at first, I enjoy singing but my singing voice isn't the best! But I absolutely love it! It is so much fun and despite a few nerves the feeling I get after performing with a fantastic group of people is just wonderful.
